At OneAdvanced, we support our customers in optimising their supply chain, managing risks, and streamlining their workforce by offering high-quality and innovative sector-specific SaaS solutions.  Adrian West, Vice President of DLM, has been playing an instrumental role in leading our efforts. With over 20 years of experience in DLM sector, Adrian excels in customer-centric strategies and driving sales growth. We recently spoke to him to learn more about his experience, journey, and dedication in helping customers achieving their goals.

Can you tell us more about your journey to OneAdvanced?

I joined OneAdvanced in Aug 2023. At OneAdvanced, the first thing that comes to my mind is the incredible people I have had privilege to work with. I have found the company’s culture is marked by customer-focused initiatives and a real can-do attitude among people. This opportunity – to drive change and make a significant difference for our customers – is what I find most thrilling.

What trends or shifts do you anticipate in Distribution, Logistics and Manufacturing?

Currently, the DLM sector is experiencing several critical trends that are shaping its future. The adoption of cutting-edge technologies is paramount. With digital transformation is in demand, it’s crucial for our customers to embrace innovative technologies such as cloud, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and robotics. It enables them to deliver better service to their customers, boost profitability, and reduce risks.

Sustainability is becoming another keystone of our operations. We aim to support our customers in integrating the principles of circular economy into their practices. This involves finding more efficient ways to reuse materials, a move that is especially significant for companies in the manufacturing and logistics sectors due to their substantial material usage and waste generation.

And finally, workforce optimisation is of outmost importance. Our customers’ struggle is not only attracting top talent but also retaining and developing them within the dynamic landscape of manufacturing and logistics. We are focused on offering solutions that enable our customers to cultivate a more skilled, and resilient workforce as the industry continues to evolve swiftly.

How do your solutions boost client’s operational efficiency?

One of most effective ways we improve the effectiveness of our customers’ operations, particularly for logistics companies like DHL and UPS, is by offering a portfolio of people management solutions. This includes everything from time and attendance to HR and payroll services to performance and talent tools. These solutions ensure that our logistic customers have the right people at the right place at the right time, especially when there is high demand for home deliveries.

Our software ensures that people’s expectations are met and maintain happiness and satisfaction among them. By facilitating the seamless delivery of packages, we empower logistic companies to not only meet but exceed their service commitments. This has been a game-changer in how logistics operates, making OneAdvanced pivotal in keeping the gears of these operations running smoothly, thereby ensuring parcels reach their destinations on time, every single time.

We would like to thank Adrian, for sharing his invaluable insights with us, and for all the experience he holds in the world of DLM.  Learn more about the way we ensure a positive customer experience, in conversation with Ros Wilkinson.
